Ardrey Circle :: Residential Landscape Design
This contemporary stucco and glass home was constructed in 2001. The new garden was designed around the extensive glass windows creating a strong indoor to outdoor connection as well as the desire to maintain some of the property in a natural state. Two lawn plinths lay off the formal wing of the home while a large water feature rolls down the natural hillside in back. Gravel pathways wander through the trees and connect front to back of the home.
In juxtaposition to the contemporary construction of the home are large boulders that have been placed along the walkways and used in the water feature. Two custom designed steel sets of rings act as gateways along the pathway, adding art in the garden.
